Gospel group SALT
Since 2005 Gospel group SALT has left many great impressions on the public that has seen them perform. In that same year they had their first performance on the yearly Amsterdam Uitmarkt Festival. The following year they were invited to participate in the opening concert of the 2006 version of this festival, which was being broadcast live on TV. Besides being part of the festivals opening concert, they also gave another 45-minute concert that year on the Bankgirolotterij stage.

In September of 2006 SALT performed at the Gospel Festival together with other Gospel artists like Kurt Carr, London Community Gospel Choir, Candi Staton & Tonex at the Pepsi Stage in Amsterdam.

Later that year they were asked to vocally support Gospel legend Edwin Hawkins [“Oh Happy Day” & “To My Fathers House”] during his performances with the Holland Symponia for the Gospel in Concert tour.

SALT is continuing to grow and is looking at 2008 with great anticipation and opportunities for them to perform! A SALT performance consists of a mix between traditional songs, like “Oh Happy Day” and “Are You Ready For A Miracle” to contemporary up-tempo Gospel songs from artists like Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary and Tonex.

The elements of SALT are:

Danie Duzant, Debby Schreuder, Rocq-E Harrell, May-Britt Scheffer, Michelle David, Tarif Heljanan, Russell Patawala, Juan Wells and Erwin van Motman.
